My payment has failed, what do I do?

Please contact the organization or campaign contact directy, as soon as possible. They will be able to check and tell you why yuor payment has failed.

How can I get my tax deductible receipt / Section 18A?

Tax deductible receipts are issued once the campaign has been completed, and is usually issued within a few weeks. Please keep checking your email for your tax-deductible receipt. 

If you haven’t received your tax-deductible receipt or if you are looking for a previous one, please contact the organization directly.

Who uses Fundnation

Do you help with setting up my campaign page?

Yes, Fundnation provides assistance with setting up your campaign page. Our dedicated team will guide you through the process and ensure your campaign page is customized to reflect your organization’s branding and goals.

What currencies can I use?

Fundnation supports all major currencies, allowing you to accept donations in various currencies based on your campaign’s target audience and reach. USD, CAD, AUD,GBP, ZAR, ILS, BRL.

What payment gateways does Fundnation work with?

Fundnation works with popular payment gateways, including Stripe, PayPal, PayFast and Walletdoc ensuring secure and seamless payment processing for your donors.

How long do campaigns usually run for?

The duration of campaigns on Fundnation varies depending on the organization and the nature of the fundraising initiative. Typically campaigns run between 24 hours and 72 hours; however, some campaigns run for a number of weeks. You have the flexibility to choose the timeframe that aligns with your campaign goals.

What happens if I don’t reach my goal?

If you don’t reach your fundraising goal, you still get to keep the funds you’ve raised. Fundnation believes in supporting organizations in their fundraising efforts, regardless of whether the goal is fully achieved.

Is Fundnation safe?

Can donors donate anonymously?

Yes, donors have the option to donate anonymously – they can select this option when making a donation.

What should my goal be?

Your fundraising goal should be a realistic target based on your organization’s needs and the scope of your campaign. It’s important to set a goal that motivates your supporters while considering the resources required to achieve it. Please contact us for further assistance on campaign goal setting.

What is a bonus round?

Should I have one? A bonus round is an additional fundraising opportunity that can be introduced after reaching the initial campaign goal. It can help incentivize donors to contribute more, unlocking additional rewards or milestones.

What are “matchers”?

“Matchers” are individuals, high-networth family offices, organizations or corporates that pledge to match donations up to a certain amount. IE, for every dollar donated – the institutions will match (ore more) the value.  

Should you wish to run a Marched Campaign, Fundnation will automatically match all donations (double, triple or quadruple. It can be beneficial to find matchers for your campaign, as it encourages donors to give knowing their contribution will be multiplied.

How do I use the backend of Fundnation?

Before your campaign goes live, Fundnation will provide full training on how to use the backend and all associated platform features. The backend of Fundnation provides you with a user-friendly interface where you can access detailed reports, track donations, manage donor information, and make necessary adjustments to your campaign settings.
