Since the shock of October 7th, 2023, the orchestra has been more than the cultural heart of the nation; it has been central to the healing of a fractured people. It brings tragedy into hope and has raised spirits as only music can.
The orchestra has adapted to these dark times by bringing the concert hall to the people, performing to communities, playing in hospitals to the wounded and their families, and comforting the young through therapeutic programmes. The concert hall itself has become a concrete symbol of resilience and a will to live and soar.
