Established 45 years ago, the Independent Jewish Day School, a Jewish Modern Orthodox primary school in the heart of northwest London.
The IJDS is a vibrant, warm, single-form entry school, which aims to provide all pupils with an excellent education in an environment which nurtures the potential of each child, encourages a love of Judaism, promotes British values, develops a sense of responsibility towards others and creates a strong connection with the people and land of Israel.
Fostering a love of Israel is central to the school’s ethos and underpins all that we do. This is brought to life throughout the year in all formal and informal Jewish education.
Over the past two years, The IJDS has worked tirelessly to achieve all the aims above under a new headmaster, Mr Yosh Radomsky.
However, with government funding reduced, and rising salary and pension costs, to continue to make impactful and important improvements over and above the school’s day to day running, we need to rely on the generosity of philanthropy.
As we approach the school’s 45th anniversary, we hope to raise £360,000 to create an environment where each child can harness their potential,
The four main areas this campaign will fund:
- Premises improvements
- IT Upgrades
- SEND Investment
- Kodesh enhancements
Every donation received will have a tangible and meaningful impact, and will be doubled by our generous matched donors. The more we raise in this campaign through philanthropic support, the more we can directly do for our children to make IJDS the best it can be now and in the future.
