Over the past 18 years, CAP has built a self-sustaining security organisation. 

It’s a partnership between the communities we serve, law enforcement and top professionals and together we’ve reduced violent crime by 80%. 

But our mission is to eradicate violent crime entirely. 

It’s not just about displacing criminals from our areas - because unrest anywhere affects us everywhere - economically, socially and psychologically.

That’s why we’ve invested in a massive proactive data-driven crime prevention force to track syndicated crime to its source so we can arrest violent offenders and ensure they stay out of circulation. 

Our Special Intervention Unit has these criminals in our sights.

The Special Interventions Unit is active 24/7 365, far beyond the boundaries of over 40 CAP communities. Their brains and brawn take the fight to the source. After assembling a water-tight case based on evidence and intelligence, they collaborate with SAPS elite units on special operations, arrests and convictions - helping end the trauma of violent crime. These remarkably successful operations generate hundreds of arrests per year.

This is resource intensive, expensive, dangerous and sensitive work -

done for safety and freedom - not for profit.
