Every few decades, a community has the rare opportunity to plant a tree that will shade the next generation. This is one of those moments.

You may know that the Southern Suburbs is home to 25% of Cape Town’s Jewish population. 

We thank Kerem, Herzlia for the years of service. 

With this growing demographic we now need a permanent, dedicated educational anchor for its young Jewish children.

We are proud to announce the launch of "The Jewish Education Campus Joint Dream - Constantia Fundraiser." In January 2026, we are opening the Constantia Jewish Montessori School; a boutique sanctuary where Jewish identity, academic excellence, and community spirit breathe life into one another.

Thanks to a visionary donor, the Jewish Education campus is secured. The historic Kerem property has been acquired for the community. The physical foundation is laid.

The campus needs development and together, we will all breathe life into it. We aren't just raising money for bricks and mortar. We are raising money for the heartbeat.

We are launching a 36-Hour Campaign to raise R1.8 Million to kickstart this educational joint venture between the Shul and School. This funding ensures that we can hire the best educators, build our eco gardens, and provide our Jewish Montessori classrooms from Day 1.

WHY WE NEED YOU: Jewish continuity does not stop at a suburb line. When a Jewish community in Constantia thrives, Cape Town thrives. By supporting this campaign, you aren't just funding a school you might never visit; you are securing a strategic outpost for Yiddishkeit. You are ensuring that hundreds of children…whether they are yours or not…grow up with a strong, proud Jewish identity.
